SimCity project completes first phase!
The 8th grade student groups have finished the computer designs of their cities. The next step is to choose a small section of the city to build. The models will be constructed 100% from recycled materials. Students are now gathering supplies for the models. The models will be built and assembled during classes in January.
7th Grade Still Waits for Space Seeds
We are eagerly awaiting a shipment of basil seeds from NASA. The seeds have been returned to Earth from the International Space Station and are in the process of being packaged for individual schools. No time for the arrival of the seeds has been given, but we will fit them into the class schedule as soon as they arrive.
Science Fair project completion deadline approaches
The 6th grade students are in the process of finishing their Science Fair experiments. The deadline for a report on the results is December 18, 2007. When classes resume in January, the students will continue to work on their Science Fair papers, will design and decorate display boards, and will prepare speeches to present their projects.
